Hey, I’m Daria (not pronounced like the cartoon). I grew up in sunny San Diego as a dancer, writer, and theater kid who attended the local performing arts school that was… honestly kind of like Fame. Think expressive teenagers, lots of creative energy, slightly fewer leg warmers.

As the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors (sorry for the sudden emotional plot twist) and a first-generation American and college graduate on my mom’s side, I’ve always understood that the stories we share become our legacy, and that idea has shaped everything about how I see the world.

I am the quintessential eldest daughter and Capricorn mix, which means I am driven, responsible, and usually the one creating the color-coded lists. When I am not working, I am a mom to two great kids, a wife to someone who could happily watch horror movies every night, and the human to two rescue dogs who run the house. I am especially passionate about women’s rights, animal advocacy, and supporting children, and I never miss a chance to back the people and causes that light me up.
